About this check

  • One public IPv4 or IPv6 address per check.
  • Reverse DNS uses DNS-over-HTTPS and is forward-confirmed: the name must resolve back to the address.
  • The network (ASN, organization and country), open ports, services and known CVEs come from a host data source. CVEs are matched from the software versions the host reports, not tested.
  • The TLS certificate comes from a direct connection to port 443. Issuer and expiry are shown only when the reverse DNS name is forward-confirmed.
  • "Hosted on" is a guess from the network's name and number.
